High Frequency or Word Wall Practice

All students learn a little differently. For some, just practicing our Word Wall Words throughout the week proves to be enough. For the majority however, more practice is needed. Sometimes I provide extra snippets of time during the day where I have students read or practice spelling these words. Practice at home is a necessity for some students too! Their volume for reading and spelling these words is not the same as others. The link for this week's list is below and is an example of what will continued to be provided for practice at home. Have your child use these slides as flashcards. They can practice reading and spelling these words. You can view the slideshow from a computer or simply from a mobile device, whichever works best for you. I have created a separate page tabbed Word Wall Words. Here I will embed the current and previous lists.

Students will also be able to access SpellingCity.com this year. My classroom has the ablity to access premium games and activities too! Students activity can be invidualy tracked. Students can practice quizes and even take the assessment at the end of the week through the site. The log-in credentials are specific to each student. To log-in, a student username is their first and last intial, followed by their lunch number. The password is their lunch number as well.
